Shaded Crest is a six-cabin retreat atop a hill on seven private heavily wooded acres in Western North Carolina. It sits above Lake Lure and is 4 miles from Chimney Rock State Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a hike, a day on the lake or The Rocky Broad River, or a wandering drive to explore the many small towns or cities close to Lake Lure.
We encourage our guests to spend the day taking in the natural allure of the surrounding areas and come back to take refuge lounging by the pool, grilling out, or cozying up in their cabin. The Shaded Crest is designed to accommodate every traveler’s style; it is secluded yet accessible with communal spaces to meet fellow travelers while still having a private space to retreat to.
We believe creating unique spaces and experiences takes thoughtful planning and time and as each changing season reveals something new, we want to allow the natural setting around us to lead the way in reviving this special property.
